II. Applications
This product is developed based on 6-carbon fluorocarbon chain technology. It will not degrade into perfluorooctanoic acid and its salts (PFOA/PFOS), thus avoiding associated environmental hazards.
It can replace FC-134 and reduce surface tension for foam fire suppression.
As a perfluorinated cationic surfactant, it significantly reduces surface tension and exhibits excellent surface activity in acidic, alkaline and neutral media. It is widely used as wetting agent, spreading agent, levelling agent, light water fire extinguishing agent, film coating agent, metal cleaning agent and electronic wave soldering auxiliary. It also serves as water and oil repellent as well as anti-fouling agent for textiles, paper, leather and other materials.
